The Africa Scout Region in conjunction with the Africa Scout Foundation have launched the #BelieveInScouts Campaign to create more awareness about the work of Scouts in Africa and mobilize supporters to join the Foundation and contribute to ensuring a future for Scouting in Africa.
The #BelieveInScouts Campaign is a clarion call inviting individuals and corporates to believe in the power of Scouts to create a better world and to follow up with a commitment of joining and contributing to the Africa Scout Foundation. The campaign also provides an opportunity to introduce young people into philanthropy by launching the Junior Membership of the Africa Scout Foundation.
By the end of December 2018, the #BelieveInScouts campaign targets to recruit young people, adult members, National Scout Organizations/Associations and corporates to the Africa Scout Foundation. Additionally, the campaign hopes to mobilize a community of Scout supporters around the world who believe in and recognize the work and contributions of the Scout movement to empowering young people and building better communities. All the new members/donors who join the Foundation will be recognized.
