The Africa Scout Foundation has officially launched its Junior Membership at the 17th Africa Scout Conference, with a pioneer team of 18 young donors. The young people drawn from across Africa and beyond have also been appointed young ambassadors of the Foundation to help promote it among their peers. This follows an earlier announcement of the introduction of the Junior Membership Category with 4 different levels; Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Speaking while presenting a report on the Foundation’s progress to the conference, the Chairperson of the Foundation Board Prof. Maggie Kigozi noted that a lot of progress had been achieved especially with the support of the Foundation’s ambassadors in other regions and collaboration with other regional Scout foundations. “We have come so far. I want to sincerely thank both the members of the Foundation and the ambassadors for working hard to inject life into the spirit of the Foundation,” she said.
